Fly to Reus
Reus airport is located only 10 km from White Pines. Although it is a tiny airport, low-cost airlines RyanAir, EasyJet, Vueling, TUI and Jet2.com operate flights from the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands and France, including London, East Midlands, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dublin and Cork. RyanAir sometimes refer to it as Barcelona Reus, this is somewhat misleading as the airport is at least 100 km from Barcelona.
Flying to Reus is very convenient as it is only a 15 minute drive from our property. Once you land at Reus, we suggest you get a taxi to drive you to Cap Salou, the fare will cost you approximately 40 Euros. There is also a bus operated by PLANA which runs between the airport and the towns of Salou, Cambrils and La Pineda, stopping at most hotels in the area. The driver will ask you what hotel you are going to so he can stop directly in front of it. The stop which is closest to our property is the one for the FESTIVAL VILLAGE Hotel in Cap Salou. Once you descend the bus at the Festival Village Hotel, a 700 meter walk will get you to White Pines, located on Pas de la Mala Dona street. The bus fare will cost you 3 Euros per person.
Fly to Barcelona
Barcelona airport is located approximately 100 km from White Pines. A taxi from Barcelona airport would cost you at least 200 Euros! Fortunately, there are other options available. We suggest you take the PLANA bus which leaves from Terminal 1. It is very convenient, cheap and it will take you to our property in 90 minutes. Buses leave approximately every 60 minutes, with the first one leaving at 9.10 AM and the last one leaving at 11.10 PM. Bus fares are 20 Euros per person. Once you arrive at Barcelona airport Terminal 1, take the lift down to Ground Floor level to find the area where the Intercity buses depart. The PLANA bus to Tarragona-Salou-Cambrils will leave from one of the bays between numbers 7 and 12. You can buy the ticket directly from the driver when you board the bus or else you can buy it from the PLANA automated ticket dispenser, located near bays 7 to 12.

Once you board the bus, it will take 60 minutes to get to the city of Tarragona's Bus Station, where some of the passengers will descend. At this point the driver will typically walk up the aisle asking the remaining passengers, one by one, which hotel they are heading for and jotting it down on his notebook. Tell the driver you want to stop at the FESTIVAL Village Hotel. Next, the bus will leave Tarragona and continue its route down the coast, with the bus driver calling out the name of the hotels upon reaching each of the stops. After the bus has run past the beach of La Pineda, and before it reaches the town of Salou, it will drive through Cap Salou. You must descend at the bus stop located directly in front of the FESTIVAL Village Hotel. From here, a 10 minute walk will get you to our property at no. 10 on Pas de la Mala Dona Street.
An alternative to taking the bus is getting the train from the city of Barcelona, which is an interesting option if you want to spend some time in Barcelona before heading down to White Pines. The nearest railway station to White Pines is PORT AVENTURA. In order to get there, you will have to get a train from any of Barcelona's railway stations (SANTS is the biggest, but PASSEIG DE GRACIA or ESTACIO DE FRANCA might also be convenient depending on where you are) to the city of Tarragona. It will take the train roughly 1 hour to reach Tarragona. Descend the train when you get there and take the R17 train to PORT AVENTURA (15 minutes ride). Once you descend at PORT AVENTURA railway station, we suggest you take a taxi to White Pines (taxi fare should be approximately 10 Euros).
